General Plan

The City of Dublin General Plan is a comprehensive policy document that expresses the community’s long-term vision and provides a framework for future decision making. The General Plan contains 12 elements that address many aspects of the community including: land use, housing, parks and open space, community design, infrastructure, safety, sustainability, and conservation of resources. The General Plan is the City’s overarching policy document. All City policies and ordinances must be consistent with the General Plan. The Planning Division is responsible for maintaining the General Plan and preparing amendments to the document as directed by the City Council. The General Plan is available to review and download below. Hard copies are also available for purchase through the Planning Division.
